Carbon dioxide (CO2) is mainly known as a greenhouse gas, but it is also an important raw material in many industrial sectors. We offer intelligent technologies that reduce carbon dioxide emissions, benefiting both the environment and plant operators.
To meet the demand, Cryotec offers advanced carbon recovery technologies, including the CO₂ Purification Unit (CPU), which helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions, benefiting both the environment and factory operators striving to lower their carbon footprint. Cryotec’s solutions include gas drying and purification, carbon dioxide liquefaction, storage and handling systems, as well as dry ice production.
Cryotec’s carbon dioxide liquefaction equipment is highly automated, ensuring the continuous production of high-quality carbon dioxide.

.The raw gas is pretreated based on pressure, temperature, and composition.
.The pretreatment process includes cooling the raw gas and removing solids, odorant, and flavor substances.
.The CO₂ is compressed.
.The CO₂ is dried to remove moisture.
.Further purification is carried out to remove impurities.
.The purified CO₂ is then liquefied.
.The CO₂ is possibly further purified to remove traces of non-condensable gases.
.The process produces high-purity liquid CO₂ that meets electronic or food industry standards and is temporarily stored in storage tanks.

2. Natural Gas/ RNG plants
3. Bio waste plants / Anaerobic Digestors
4. Chemical sources
1. Separation from industrial / fuel gases
2. Separation from combustion gases of power plants, hydrogen production, synthesis gas production
3. Incinerators for associated gas from “Enhanced Oil Recovery” applications in oil and gas exploration
4. From dry ice production
5. From fermentation process in breweries / distilleries
6. From biomethane production (CO₂ removal)
7. From methanation process of synthetic natural gas production (SNG)
8. From natural sources
As listed above, industries such as petrochemicals, steel, power plants, cement, incinerators, and distilleries are major sources of raw carbon dioxide. In the face of the increasingly urgent global carbon reduction timeline, Cryotec’s CO₂ recovery and liquefaction solutions provide the most timely and effective support for these industries.
